Elimination of Efflorescence on Ceramic Brick

Presents the results of investigations on elimination of efflorescence on the front faces of ceramic products arising in the production process the clay raw materials containing soluble salts. Developed solutions based on phosphoric acid, which is necessary to cover the verge of the nascent samples. It is determined that the value of pH of acid solution should be reduced with increasing the content of water-soluble salts in the clay raw material. In addition to eliminating whitish strikes the proposed solution helps to ensure a more saturated coloring of the front surface. It is shown that the proposed method will contribute to the expansion of the resource base through involvement in the production of clay raw materials with high content of soluble salts and increase in the production of high quality facial products
